It is finaly out!!!

Kyodo Revoltech releases the movie version of optimus prime.
Its likeness to the movie and the superb articulation ball joints that made revoltech famous, made up for the lacks of ability to transform.

Will megatron, bumblebee, soundwave and other iconic transformers make their way to revoltech line? We just have to wait and see.

What do you think of iron man mark v from hot toys?
Plain, a bit weird because of the silver or metalic armor?
It looks slimer than mark iii and thinner than mark iv.
But does it look Bad Ass? For those buyers who are picky they would pass this (like myself).

On second thought, if i were to collect all the iron man armors this is a must.
It has got a hefty price tag same as mark vi. But it feels like mark iv which is the cheapeat among all hot toys iron man.

Following the Transformers Movie Starscream Masterpiece, Tomy Takara released recently the Movie version of Bumblebee adding to their Masterpiece collection.

Some people say this is the same thing as the one that from Hasbro ( i cant remember exactly what that is. But some also says this version has die cast metal parts.

I am not sure if it is true or not. but i ll check it out once it is arrived.

Late 2010 last year, hot toys released exclusive collections to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

Batman demon and scarecrow in one pack among other four.

To my knowledge these are very limited collections, nevertheless bigbadtoysstore used to have this preordered. I leave this to you to judge.

I am not sure whether it is a limited edition or mass production. But i managed to secure one of these. Mine is batman demon sells at usd 300. A friend of mine will sell his for usd 700 for both batman demon and scarecrow pack. I will list this in my webstore.

Its awesome. Its batman but it looks like spawn crossover!!

Most of us probably have read or seen some pictures of this cool-ectibles Iron Man Mark IV but it never hurts to see some more because the details are just simply awe-mazing. And you may find out as you scroll down some other unseen images.

Gundam Museum to rebuild in Nagoya

Gundamers...remember back in 2003, in Tokyo Japan they used to have Bandai/Gundam Museum?
Then it was closed? according to Anime News Network, Bandai sold the museum.

Now there has been a proposal with Nagoya City Council to rebuild the Museum. Lets hope us gundamers may have got a chance to go and visit the museum again soon.

However, heard about the Theme Park near Mount Fuji, it is called GUNDAM CRISIS @ Fuji-Q Highland.

This theme park is currently hosting the 1/1 RX-78. But how? are they going to rebuild another 1/1 RX-78 ? or buy it out or steal it? :)

The March issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype magazine has confirmed on Wednesday that the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 anime movie will open in Japan in September.
The theatrical spinoff to the two seasons of Sunrise's Mobile Suit Gundam 00 anime series was previously dated for "Fall 2010" by a Barks news report last month.

So...gundamers. it is still few more months to go to September 2010. I am sure there will be teasers and goodies coming our ways closer to the date.
I cant wait for this...

Browsed IGN for more news on this game. I got the feeling this will be something similar like how they redo the BATMAN game (Batman Arkham Asylum). I really really hope this is going to be awesome. I think even if it has 7-ish rating, I will consider buying it.

According to IGN, the story takes back prior to G1 era, before they landed on earth. Optimus Prime was unsure if he was the right guy to lead the Autobot. This is one of the thing that will be explored in the game.

How about that for a Transformers fans?

What do you think? cool CGI. I hope the game is as good as the trailer.

Finally this Musha Gundam was finished last weekend 6/12/2009.

This kit has been sitting in my display room for almost over a year since i bought it in Japan last year (2008).

I didnt use any special technique on the paint coating. I only use the flat coat primer on the runner before I start building them

I learnt new thing when finishing up this Kit...that is "how to apply the "water decals" properly without getting frustrated by the wetness and possible damage of the decals.

For newbies (like me) using a flat plier helps a lot as you dont have to "trim flat" the runner after the first cut.

Here are some pics on the Musha Gundam. Image quality is poor as i took them on my Blackberry Bold 9000.

On Sydney Airport, apparently the plane was 1hr delayed.

This is Jakarta at its peak time...

When we arrived, it was in the month of Ramadhan (Muslim's holy month), streets are packed with cars with people heading home. Decent public transports are a luxury in my city. That is why people are commuting with private cars.

Look, how packed up the streets are. There are more cars than roads. Apart from lacks of descent public transport, the air condition is badly polluted...so more reason to use own car.

We were heading to my in-law's house, planning to do "iftar" there (iftar is the time where we end our fasting for the day in the month of Ramadhan). But we were stuck half way due to the traffic. So we ended up iftarring on the street with some locals. It was fun when we are not in a hurry. lots of street foods and people are offering sweet drinks and snackku ...

After a month of fasting, comes the celebration "Ied" . most people go to their home to see their relatives and family. See how wide open the city is when people are gone.

Mecha fanz, Gundam Seed Astray Red Frame Perfect Grade is the latest release From Bandai. It was released early 2009. This kit allows various poses upon completion. I like the design of this mobile suit. It looks like a bad ass mobile suit, especially with the added Katana (Garbera Straight) which enhances the "warrior"-ness of it. A friend from Bahrain - Nasser (http://twitter.com/Nasnous), finished building his Astray Perfect Grade and kind enough to share some of his picture. Thanks bro. So why don't I have it of my own..? A quick snapshot of the ps3 slim.. According to unofficial reports the slim PS3 will be sold cheaper and will have more storage capacity... can anyone confirm this? I used my PS3 mostly to watch movies and less time for playing anymore...I haven't even finished Devil May Cry 4 (half way through) . My PS3 is buffed up with 100 G of storage and has all of my Gundam series in there (originally 40 g). I am contemplating upgrading it, but I am not sure if the slim version will be as reliable as the fat one. But I had no complain about the slim PS2. I would wait and see for any future review before upgrading it. It looks great and definitely will save some spaces around my TV cabinet. Should Mecha-Cyber stock this PS3? let me know... After a couple of years since MP-04 Optimus Prime release, Takara released the repaint version of Optimus Prime MP-01. Only this time is in the form of Nemesis Prime.

Nemesis Prime appeared in numerous Transformers series as (according to my opinion) is Prime's alter ego in the parallel universe.

According to report this version of masterpiece (MP) has no difference in articulation, transformation and the material used (PVC and Die Cast). Noticably the major difference is the black paint, the chest windscreen, the eyes and the signal ligts.

That is awesome. the new release MG Gundam Exia from the Gundam 00 series (for those who dont know what i am talking about) :p

I have not yet been able to obtain its selling price from my supplier, but is should be around the same price as the normal Master Grade price.

The guys at the forum said by comparison to the no grade 1/100, this Exia MG does not appear to have many differences from the outside look, but collectors should expect more detail on the skelleton as a standard MG Kit.

Come accross an add at http://www.animesydney.org/ forum selling his Eva 00 revoltech miniature for AUD9. I thought, hey it is not bad. I didnt even know what revoltech miniature is. So i would expect it is just an ordinary revoltech... So there I was at Darling Park Sydney after picking my wai heading to Enmore to see Mr Jason..

in comparison, Eva 00 miniature is not so mini.

Eva 00 befriends with Ingram and Griffon I learnt that Revoltech Miniature is actually the mini version of the normal size of revoltech. There it is Eva 00 Revoltech Miniature !!! and half chicken tandoori from the infamous Pakistani restaurant at Enmore Rd - very delicious !! highly recomended if you come to visit Sydney.

I broke the hip while I was trying to pose sit down..very sad...(sorry no pic). It has been superglued. [insert pic of hip] Revoltech Miniature has the same articulation joints compared to its normal version. I am comparing this to Ingram 02. so the little guy can do as much as posing as the big dude.

The Autobots BT-16 Theoritician SKIDS.
To some of you this type of car mode may look rather unusual. This actual car is sold in Japan.
It is called Toyota bB X .
When my wife and I was there, this car was everywhere. The Japanese likes to drive in this sort of compact mini vans.
Just by looking at these pictures and the box, I came into conclusion Binaltech has done a very good job in producing it.
It is very detailed in everywhere (the bonnet, the driver side, the wheels). The robot mode does look cool too.
The best part is, decal stickers are supplied to custom-mark this dude.

The next in-line is the BAD ASS MEGATRON in Transformers Alternity A-02 Nissan Fairlady Megatron, monterey blue...
This bad ass nemesis of prime is the Decepticon answer to the Transformers Alternity A-01 Nissan GT-R, red - PRIME.
Megatron comes in Nissan Fairlady and with two KATANA Blades. As it stated in the box, this edition comes with the new transforming mechs...(i have no idea what it actually does...I want to open it but I rather have all Mecha-Fans to find out)

MP-03 Starscream Masterpiece USA Edition.
Is this a Decepticon or an Autobot? We need not answer that :P
As we all know, the original TAKARA Masterpiece edition has officially become "rare". However Takara imported this product line to the US under TAKARA TOMY brand then translated into Hasbro.
Dont get turned down by the brand hasbro as the quality of the item still carries the TAKARA standards. It is very detailed and carries the wheathering effect... its "STARSCREAM"....

The last but not least in this new arrival entry is
The Decepticon Soundwave MP3 player. It is the special edition Blaster Black.
It comes with a very mint packaging and with earphone.
You can listen to music using your 1 GB SDcard (up to 1 gb only). Aside from that, it is fully transformable into robots and cassette deck, and it looks like the soundvave from the G1.

Transformers 2: the epilogue

Hello hello..Helll yeah!!! Watched it, suspensed it, enjoyed it, dreamt it ...Nice movie liked it. It is typical Bay's movie, with all of the explosion, babes, etc. but that is what I am looking for. There were heaps of kick ass actions, and just enough suspense. There are more transformers.. On the down side, i must side with Jamaipanese.com, lots of misplaced comedy and it feels excessive. On the part where things just dont make sense, yes I agree with all of you. but it is Mr Bay's movie. it always like that. Personally my issue was it would be great to see less human and more robots. I am talking about the part when they lost optimus... too stretchy. I would love to see more Ironhide, Sideswipe, Ratchet and Jolt characters, but I supposed it would take more than a 2.5 hr movie. The actions were excellent, story line was enjoyable I definitely memorise it, humor was excessive, I need not mention about the special effect, i think we have general concensus about it. Here is few possible loose ends to the Transformers 3 (if they are doing it):

The sharpenel in Mikayla's bag,
Megatron and Starscream escape,
The multiple locations of Energon sources,
Decepticon's HQ in space
...

Let me know if there are more...and we shall see if any of these will be covered in the next movie...let there be Transformers 3.

Transformers 2: technical delay

What is "technical delay".... and what does it have anything to do with the movie that has already been released?

It is the fact that the movie tickets i purchased were invalid.

how so...? they were bought for different day!!!

It was meant to be the nice weekend robot gateway with friends and wife..instead they were for the Thursday night 2 days prior!!!!

It Sux deep...(sukhdeep)

It is not because of the money (being no refund) but because of the TIMING. I am very particular in choosing time for my favorite movie nite...nothing more because of Comfort and the after feeling that I am after.

How did that happen? If I only knew..

Now I (we) stuck with Monday nite at 6:20pm ... I hate monday, because of the first day of the working week...and it just does not match.

It sux really...sux...

Luckily all my mates are very understanding (thank you guys)and forgiving they wouldnt mind with the new dates (the dates that I screwed up for them).

Anyhow, My twitter mate, has allowed me to quote his review on the movie, so guys to avoid any disappointment due to high expectation..

I didn’t like the movie because it was filled with the wrong types of excesses. Too many comedians, too many unnecessary characters, too much focus on unimportant scenes and the movie was longer that it needed to be. There were a few amazing moments action like Optimus Prime’s ass kicking scene in the forest and Jetfire is the probably the coolest transformer ever but the movie lacked cohesiveness and falls short of my expectations. A usual I don’t want to spoil too much so be sure to check out Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen at the theater ..."

I read similar review like this before, the similarity is the excessive misplaced comedy.

Well guys let see how the movie is...

As the days draw closer, (i am watching it 3 days late after the Sydney premier) I am getting so hyped up about it. I even dreamt i was in the middle of the greenfield where i saw my (our) new maxx transforms into Black Optimus. How crazy is that.... what a neerd- but i dont care.

Babes, Cars, Explosion, Robot...the perfect combination of my kind of movies. I dont need Benjamin Button story line, just those ones and i will shut up and cry in joy!!!

Tickets bought a week early, when half of the seats in the cinema were already sold out.

But What I really want to see is ...wait for it ("barnie stinson" :how i met your mother)...... JETFIRE and PRIME combined!!!

I expect that, I heard that, I read rumour about that. Dont you dare tell me that !!! until i see the movie.

In JetFire we trust!!

Family in Jakarta (my home town) said, "it was great", "cant stop smiling", "awesome". "Friends" in twitter said: "you wont be dissapointed", "Bay kept Original Jetfire intact in the ROTF" etc etc.

On the other side, i also read :brainless, not as good as the first one, too much comedy, too much this and that.

...it is not about those things...its supposed to be on babes, robots, cars, explosion !!! its a no brainer...no thinking required. what do you expect...it is based on toys ---> comics --->cartoon/Anime ---> then movie. It need not be serious.

Transformers 2: JetFire - Autobot Legend

I dont know why Mr Bay decided to have JetFire initialy factioned with Decepticon. May be because in G2 toys he had Decepticon's emblem printed on his wing but released as Autobot. Anyhow, in all animated series, JetFire has always been allied with Autobot and Mecha-Cyber (me) is a big fan!!. Like in Transformers Armada, he combined with Prime to beat the crap out of Galvatron/ Megatron. What I have heard is, in the movie this will happen too. I can only hope. If this is true, wow....Awesome !!! Mr. Bay definitely will earn my respect because not only he makes JetFire appeared, he also managed to keep the context (bringing JetFire's destiny i.e. JetFire always come to the rescue when Prime needs him most!) I will not spoil the fun by bringing his robot mode picture and more insight story about him...but here are some pics of the guys doing graphic arts, G1 pic and G2 Pic JetFire is the Force to be reckoned with.
